Position Overview
The Aviation Front Desk Agent /Shift Lead Air is responsible for the prompt, efficient, professional, and courteous service to our customers, at all times.
The Aviation Front Desk Agent /Shift Lead will ensure proficiency in meet and greet interactions, fielding and routing phone calls appropriately and politely, e-mail corresponding, handling fax transmissions, text and instant messaging as warranted, and communicating through ground-to-air radio.
Schedule requirement: Sunday - Wednesday 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with scheduling needs and requests for hotel accommodations, courtesy vehicles, and catering.
- Invoice aircraft fuel purchases.
- Direct guests to amenities offered by Northeast.
- Balance and prepare individual paperwork for opening and/or closing shifts.
- Handle incoming/outgoing calls.
- Operate ground-to-air radio.
- Run daily arrival and departure reports.
- Distribute faxes, packages, and mail to customers as needed.
- Distribute billing reports to appropriate outlets.
- Complete and distribute “Missed Jet Report” daily.
- Help train current and new employees
- Be proactive in assigning downtime duties.
- Assist with implementing department policies and procedures, ensuring team members understand and comply.
Qualifications:
- Oral and written comprehension and expression; ability to convey and understand information.
- Able to evaluate and select alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- Effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by team members and customers.
- Excellent phone and customer service skills.
- Solid analytical ability and mathematical aptitude.
- Excellent time management, organizational, prioritization, and follow through skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous leadership experience in hospitality.
