Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.
Propose and finalize the project budget.
Direct and review the overall planning of project activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
Ensure the accomplishment of project outcomes in accordance with the contractual scope of work, schedule, quality requirements, and company processes.
Monitor, report, and achieve targets for project costs, revenues, margin, and cash flow.
Monitor, report, and achieve project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Manage the client relationship and provide project status reviews.
Prepare and/or review cost and risk analyses, as well as extra work claims for the client.
Manage claims and change orders effectively.
Execute the staffing process for the project team.
Evaluate the performance of project team members.
Manage subcontractors and their scope of work.
Coordinate through the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of the project.
Promote business opportunities and collaborate closely with Sales Managers.
Perform other duties associated with this position as appropriate.
Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline or Business Discipline required
5 - 10 years of experience managing large signaling projects (>$50M)
Experience managing system integration projects with construction and technical subsystems
Experience in the Mass Transit rail industry, particularly in signaling
Working knowledge of safety and security, Buy America regulations, train control systems, passenger vehicles, communication systems, traction electrification systems, and operation & maintenance of rail systems.
Superior leadership and communication skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
English language proficiency
