POSITION OBJECTIVE
This position is responsible for working to provide Yellow Emperor with superior quality products by following procedures outlined in SOPs and BPR’s, while performing duties that include any area of prepping, measuring, mixing, cooking and filling of product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate cooking, mixing, and processing equipment
- Follow proper cleaning and use protocols outlined in Equipment SOPs.
- Fill out Cleaning Logs and Batch Cleaning Logs: initial, date, and timestamp verification when collecting clean tools, according to proper Documentation GMP Guidelines.
- Help kit necessary equipment and utensils for each step of a Production Run.
- Fill out Batch Production Records accurately and correctly.
- Accurately measure and mix raw materials that have been approved for use to make products for Yellow Emperor’s Clients.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to wear a fume and particulate respirator and pass OSHA respiratory testing
- While in the clean room, employees are required to wear cGMP PPE including but not limited to lab coats, gloves, and shoe coverings. Beard nets are required for any noticeable facial hair and piercings.
- Frequently pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Standing, lifting, leaning, climbing ladders, twisting, bending, and reaching occasionally throughout the work shift.
- Able to occasionally lift weights of up to 50 pounds and must be able to move 10-25 pounds routinely.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in food handling and safety
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to understand and follow QA/QC compliance procedures, protocol, and GMP practices
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment and operations is helpful
- Ability to work independently and as a committed team member at times
- Able to follow health and safety standards in a warehouse environment
