Job Summary: The primary function of the landscape maintenance account manager is consistent client communication while building a strong positive relationship that is based on trust and client satisfaction. The overall goal is client retention and developing the properties through enhancement sales. Proactively recommending solutions and improvements to the client’s property and/or community. Performance of regular site visits and regular personal client visits for both high end residential and commercial communities. Ensuring the highest quality services and client expectations are delivered. Working closely with the production and operations team in developing our team and raising the level of quality through leadership and training. Maintain monthly budgets and reports to management. Assist in leadership of the team by reviewing scheduling, timesheets, and budgeted hours.

Essential Job Functions:

Job Requirements:
1. Strong working knowledge of plant material and horticultural practices. Previous experience with high end residential and commercial properties.
2. 3 years previous account manager experience and /or 2 years leadership experience.
3. Understanding of landscape irrigation systems and watering requirements.
4. Basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office, cell phone and other technical devices.
5. Must be able to work a 5 -day schedule, may include weekends or Holidays.
6. Ability to perform time sensitive tasks.
7. Must maintain a valid state issued driver’s license. Have a clear driving record and must pass a criminal background check.
8. Must be able to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
9. Strong verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual – Spanish a plus).
10. Previous landscape design knowledge.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Managing production for multiple landscape maintenance crews to meet budgeted hours and margins.
2. Control and handle the routing & sequencing of maintenance crews to meet budgeted hours.
3. Build customer relationships through effective communication, customer service and regular site visits and regular personal client visits for high-end residential and commercial clients.
4. Sell enhancement services to Clients (some client sales meetings require appointment times after 5 p.m.)
5. Maintain monthly budgets and report results to management.
6. Train and educate team members to assist in production improvements.
7. Enter data and time, from timesheets, into company computer program.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
