Mildred Elley School, a private multi-campus two-year college, is seeking a part time EKG Clinical Medical Assistant instructor at its Albany, NY Campus. Job Description:
This position requires a clinical background and experience in EKG. Being able to instruct Medical Assisting students in the Lead II rhythms. Must be knowledgeable with the 12 Lead EKG rhythms associated with Acute Coronary Syndromes in preparation for the National Healthcare Association certification exam. Course content must be within the Standard of Care for Medical Assistants in New York State.
Requirements/Required & Preferred Credentials:
- Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College or University.
- Clinical experience in both teaching the technical differences in EKG rhythms and the usage of an EKG machine including all the critical thinking ideologies.
- Teaching Certificate and experience with patients a plus.
Compensation:
$23 - $25 per hour based on experience.
