The Opportunity

- Proficient in Excel, Word, email, typing, and ERP software experience: Sage 100 preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years (5 preferred) proven track record of account management/inside sales experience.
- High School Diploma. Post Secondary Education is preferred.
- Glass industry product knowledge preferred.
Job Summary
- Makes outbound calls by phone to regular and prospective customers to develop relationships and to execute individual account sales plan.
- Initiates and completes a minimum of 22 outbound calls daily.
- Meets monthly personal and company sales goals.
- Maximizes selling effort by focusing on up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintains a high average order value.
- Sustains increase of customer base from leads.
- Services active accounts including order taking, processing, calling on backorders, product substitutions, etc.
- Enters orders and quotes efficiently and correctly into company systems.
- Provides customer service and assistance with problem resolution.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment
- This position is a full-time On-Site position.
- Operating Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Office environment with some time spent in same site warehouse.
D&L has an expansive inventory! To get you ready to serve our customers you will have hands-on training in our warehouse for 1 to 2 months learning about our inventory, order flow, systems and processes; including order pulling and stocking.
