Audit Manager
The Audit/Assurance Manager is responsible for providing independent evaluation of the organizations internal control environment and risk management controls. This position is responsible for developing and implementing audit plans, performing and supervising audit fieldwork, and preparing audit reports. The Audit/Assurance Manager provides assurance services to internal and external customers in accordance with established laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual audit plan based on managements risk assessment.
- Perform fieldwork for financial, operational, information technology, and compliance audits.
- Identify deficiencies and opportunities to improve internal control environment and risk management processes.
- Provide professional audit services including inspection, verification, and analysis.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and make presentations to management.
- Coordinate and manage external audit activities.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments in the auditing field.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in auditing or related field.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of auditing standards, procedures, techniques, and internal controls.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
