Duties:
-Bilingual x-ray tech to start immediately with a busy hand & upper extremity practice.
PACS system experience preferred.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Follow established protocols and safety measures to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician.
- Proficient in operating X-ray equipment and related software.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies.
- Active Licensure from the State of Florida
This is a part-time position for an X-Ray Tech. It will be an average of 20hrs/week with days varying depending on clinic schedule.
