Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic evaluations using X-ray equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images
- Operate X-ray machines to capture images of the specified body parts
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of the images taken
- Maintain patient records and document procedures performed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret images
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills:
- Proficient in performing scans and X-ray procedures
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Experience in mammography, sonography, PET scans, or other specialized imaging techniques is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, such as an emergency room (ER)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
