Position: Vice President/Senior Director – Sales & Marketing (Wamsutta)
Location: New York, NY, United States 4 days in office mandatory
Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000

Role Overview: You will be part of the team at COMPANY our subsidiary in the US and play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our luxury D2C brand presence in the United States. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across multiple sales channels. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented marketing leader with a passion for luxury retail, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of delivering P&L targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy for Wamsutta, aligning with the company's business objectives and brand positioning in the luxury home textile market.
- Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital (e-commerce, social media, email), retail partnerships, PR, events, and experiential marketing.
- Collaborate closely with the product development, design and merchandising teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with product assortment and innovation pipeline.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify consumer trends, customer insights, and growth opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights to formulate marketing strategies and tactics.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve P&L targets while maintaining financial discipline and accountability.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing regular reporting and analysis to senior management.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with influencers, luxury retailers, and industry stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and drive customer acquisition.
- Champion the Wamsutta brand values and heritage, ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in luxury retail and digital marketing, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and differentiate the brand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles within the luxury retail or home textile industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Deep understanding of direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing strategies and tactics, particularly in the context of luxury brands and e-commerce.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, consumer insights, and financial metrics for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functional teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, talent development, and strategic planning.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, creativity, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the US retail landscape, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics in the home textile industry is preferred.
- Passion for luxury lifestyle, home décor, and consumer trends, with a keen eye for quality, design, and craftsmanship.
