Production Assistant Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Creates and coordinates the daily production schedules for production. Develop the daily calendars for the office, ensuring required materials are ordered and available, and helping with any other needs of the production team. Must be highly organized and able to coordinate with every department. Candidates will need to be familiar with how every step of the production process works. Clerical, assembly, packaging, scanning, and forklift experience can all be beneficial in this position. Candidate should also be proficient with data entry and office software, such as PDF, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Production Assistant Responsibilities:
- Plans, prepares, and adjusts daily production schedules.
- Prepares job packets for production and packing.
- Check and update, verify and send production labels and markings.
- Verify to ensure production instructions meet all guidelines related to company and customer policies and requirements.
- Collaborate with team and departments to ensure deadlines are met and goals are achieved.
- Review post-production results for anomalies, reporting accordingly and timely.
- Create and send production and inventory reports.
- Manage production office functions, including but not limited to greeting visitors and receiving phone calls.
- Document production practices by reviewing data for completeness and accuracy, scanning records in electronics locations, e.g. Almonds Logic, Shared drive, and databases.
- Communicate with management and other team members when quality problems arise and offer possible solutions to help correct any mistakes during manufacturing.
- Fulfill other administrative or office duties as needed
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
- Notify the supervisor immediately of any problems.
Production Assistant Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Assistant or similar role.
- A fine attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency.
- Able to lift, up to 50 pounds, with the ability to sit for long periods of time.

- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
