Earth School Educational Foundation, Inc. (ESEF) dba carbon nation, is a [501(c)3] not-for-profit venture, founded in 2007 to produce and distribute media about climate change solutions and environmental stewardship. Additionally, since 2014, ESEF facilitates scientific research projects on regenerative agriculture and documents these scientific studies and results on film, to amplify the scientific findings. ESEF focuses on regenerative agriculture as a powerful tool to combat a host of environmental issues, including climate change.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outreach & Admin Coordinator to join our team. We are headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, but your small and mighty team are located in different states in the US.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Outreach to groups to promote Roots So Deep, our latest documentary production and its mission and message.
- Research and contact companies, NGOs and other stakeholder groups to present Roots So Deep to them. Prior contact/existing relationship with some but not all.
- Seek and build partnerships for our distribution and outreach campaign
- Maintain a database of these outreach activities
- Manage Newsletter and Email Campaigns
- Segment audience lists and develop campaigns accordingly
- Create email campaigns that coordinate with upcoming events and projects
- Draft, send and respond to email blast in collaboration with social media coordinator and film director
- Assist with social media moderation and scheduling as needed under the guidance of the social media manager and coordinator
- Manage the general inbox email account
- Receive and respond to inbound email inquiries via our websites, typically involving community screening requests, AMP resources information, speaking appearances inquiries for the film director, press inquiries, any general inquiries and feedback about our work.
- Community screenings
- Assist community screening organizers with the process of setting up a screenings
- Add screenings to website
- Databases Management
- Keep workflow databases up to date
- Other Admin - As a member of a small and nimble team, other sundry administrative duties will come up from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, related degree OR 3 years relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with standard office software and technology.
- The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with all stakeholders.
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience in social media management tools and platforms and Mailchimp (or similar) software.
- Self-starter with strong project management, organizational capabilities and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in small groups
- An interest in agricultural issues and regenerative agriculture specifically is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
