i. The Cost Estimator shall have a background and experience in Cost Estimating, Architectural design, Interior Design, Engineering, and Construction Management.
ii. Submit a resume. Resumes shall not exceed three pages, to include education, employment, degrees, certifications, memberships, etc. and meeting the minimum qualifications as identified in the scope of work and should include a list of no more than five (5) construction projects that the following individual has performed Project Management duties. It is beneficial that these projects demonstrate the ability to carry out specific duties as identified in the scope or work provided with the RFP including the size and complexity of the project, new construction or repair and alterations, and dates/square footage of the referenced projects. The resumes should relay the length and type of experience commensurate with the SOW of the contract.
iii. Similar estimating shall cover at least six (6) of the eight (8) following criteria: Design including supporting Consultants, Construction, miscellaneous tenant activities, procurement of Personal Property, Closeout, Design, Scheduling, and Site and Construction Inspection support.
iv. The Cost Estimator shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of overall experience in this role or similar design industry role.
v. The Cost Estimator will require agency specific security clearance to perform work. Estimators shall be able to obtain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) clearance and Customer Agency-specified Security Clearance, i.e., Facility Security Committee.
vi. The Cost Estimator shall be experienced with R.S. Means online; other Industry accepted estimating tools, and historic cost information software.
