Metric Property Management is seeking a motivated Community Manager to join our team at Laurel Heights, located in Austin, Texas. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing profitability for property owners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and financial management
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Develop and implement property marketing strategies to increase occupancy and maximize revenue
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders
- Build and maintain positive relationships with property owners, residents, and vendors
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and rent collections
- Conduct regular property inspections and implement necessary repairs and improvements
- Manage resident relations and oversee the leasing process
- Develop and execute resident retention strategies to increase resident satisfaction and renewals
- Implement training and development programs for staff to ensure excellent customer service and employee growth
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in property management, including experience in a leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations
- Experience in budgeting and financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual proficiency preferred
