WHAT YOU WILL DO
The JET Clinician is responsible for the planning, implementing and coordinating the activities and services for individuals in the JET program inside the county detention facility. The Clinician will assist those adults sentenced to complete the JET program due to their problems associated with the substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorder and criminal addictive behavior. The Clinician’s number one priority is the safety and welfare of each client.
The Clinician shall provide:
- Biopsychosocial assessment
- Treatment planning
- Supportive group and individual counseling
- Life-skills educational groups
- Discharge planning
- Case management planning, referral and coordinating care for those individuals assigned through the JET program.
- Provides information services to family members and significant others of clients, as well as other collaterals as an adjunct to assessment and referral.
- Must be comfortable working inside the Flagler County Jail.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
· A Master’s in Psychology, Social Work, or some other relevant discipline.
· Two years of behavioral health experience.
· Must be able to gain access to the Flagler County Jail.
· Prior experience working with inmates preferred.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Level 2 background check required.
· Drug testing and references required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
