The postdoctoral fellow will engage in data collection and analysis on previous STEM workforce attrition, collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers, prepare manuscripts, and contribute to reports for federal institutions. The postdoctoral fellow will work on an interdisciplinary NSF grant project aimed at improving the understanding of the impact of STEM attrition within educational and workforce pathways on the supply of STEM talent needed to meet future workforce demand. This project reflects Annapurna Solutions’ dedication to increasing participation in the STEM workforce.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support STEM workforce policy understanding
- Analyze data from sources such as NSF, Census, BLS, surveys, and GIS mapping
- Utilize statistical software like R for data analysis
- Provide insights on STEM workforce policies and their implications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and feedback for policy recommendations
- Assist in preparing reports, briefs, and presentations on policy findings
**Qualifications:**
Applicants should have a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in engineering education, higher education, STEM education, or related fields. Strong preference will be given to candidates with a proven publication record in leading peer-reviewed journals.
