Overview:
Organic Filling Solutions is a private label manufacturing company located in Chatsworth, CA. We manufacture skin care, hair care, essential oils, perfumes and more.
We are looking for a reliable Bookkeeper to handle our day-to-day bookkeeping functions that include: accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxes, credit notes, banking activity, reconciliations, auditing, invoices, and more. Must have experience with Quickbooks, great communication and organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Communicate with vendors and clients via telephone and email when needed
- Procurement
- Enter and pay bills and ensure transactions are properly categorized
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Import sales and purchase transactions; update general ledger
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Accurately create, send, and file invoices
- Prepare and submit Quarterly taxes
- Review Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets with Owner: weekly/monthly
- Communicate via email and phone effectively
- Set up/update the Chart of Accounts

- Must be tech-savvy!! - Ability to quickly learn new software, software add-ons, and apps.
- Self-motivated - You must be able to meet deadlines while providing a quality work product.
- Attention to detail - must be able to spot discrepancies in files and reports.
- Proactive, Quick learner - willing to self-teach, seek further understanding to grow or better perform in position
- Ability to problem solve, multi-task, and prioritize.
- Capacity to track and stay on top of Tax Deadlines, State/City Permits, Licensing Fees/Renewals, etc. without reminders or assistance
- Excel expert with advanced knowledge of Google Sheets and Docs
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to meet hard deadlines without exception.
- Handle multiple projects at one time--all in different areas of reconciliation
- Comfortable using Quickbooks, MS Excel, MS Word, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs
- Prior working experience with ERP software is a huge plus!
Requirements:
- 2+ Years experience with Quickbooks Online and Desktop Version Required; no exceptions.
- 5+ Years Bookkeeping Experience
- Minimum of Associate's Degree in Accounting or Related Field
