WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?
In this position, you will oversee the daily activities of psychiatric technicians, ensuring that they are providing excellent care to our patients. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing procedures to address the medical needs of each patient in our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). Screening calls and questions regarding medication will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that patients receive accurate and timely information. Moreover, you will arrange educational sessions to educate patients on medication-related matters, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.
Monitoring lab work within medication guidelines and providing personalized and group support to patients receiving medications will be essential to their overall health. You will also collaborate with psychiatrists to phone or dispense prescriptions as needed. Completing admission assessments and creating treatment plans are critical aspects of this role, as they guide our patients toward recovery and improved mental health. Your thoroughness and attention to detail will be key in developing effective plans tailored to each individual.
