The Analytics Specialist needs to be very organized with the capacity to manage several analytics onboarding projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment. This position is entry-level, with high potential for advancement. Preference will be placed on candidates with previous analytics or reporting backgrounds, however, we are open to hiring someone with high analytical ability and a desire to move into analytics from other marketing specialties.
Responsibilities:
- Implement our marketing analytics tech stack in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, call tracking, and website chat for paid search, paid social, organic search, programmatic, and internal corporate websites.
- Analyze the conversion paths of websites and design conversion optimization strategies that effectively communicate to the client organic and paid campaign successes for monthly reporting.
- Set up and configure multi-channel reporting for new and existing clients in our reporting system.
- Partner closely with the account management and sales teams to maintain scalable processes to ensure best practices in campaign management.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation in client onboarding.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Superb analytics and data-driven thinking skills.
- Aptitude to solve complex problems, desire to gain new skills.
- One year of experience using Google Analytics or Tag Manager on the job.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on client goals
- Ability to exercise high attention to detail on daily tasks in an environment that requires high task output with minimal errors.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Prior employment at a digital marketing agency.
- #1 point of contact for the client, sales teams, and internal fulfillment team.
- Experience configuring & deploying conversion tracking in Google Tag Manager.
- Deep understanding of all settings in GA and what they do.
- Understanding of conversion funnels and multi-channel attribution models.
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce analytics, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
- Expertise in any agency reporting platform such as TapClicks, BrightEdge, SEO Clarity, Conductor, Adobe Analytics, or Agency Analytics.
