National Polytechnic College - has an opening for an Admissions Coordinator.
We are a Private Postsecondary Vocational College with our main campus located in Lakewood California geared toward training students for various certificate and degree programs in the medical imaging field.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the promotion and recruitment process; introduces the college and thoroughly reviews all training and educational programs to prospective students; exclusively markets our growing medical imaging programs to new or field-related prospects; conducts all admissions activities with the highest integrity and business ethics while adhering to state, federal, and college accreditation policies and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the promotion and the recruitment of prospective students.
- Adheres to the college Admissions Code of Ethics, policies and procedures.
- Communicates effectively when working with prospective, future and current students while avoiding misrepresentation at all times.
- Works compliantly within federal and state regulations.
- Contacts prospective students by telephone, email or text message to schedule meetings for interviews.
- Provide superior customer service when interacting with prospective students on the phone, in writing, by email, text message and/or in person. Assists and discusses the benefits of education with prospective students.
- Schedule the prospect students to attend an orientation session prior to the start date of class and ensure the prospective student has a positive experience.
- Produces inquiries and helps increase referrals.
- Ensures a positive work environment that puts the needs of the student first while fostering a team-oriented approach in coordinating student needs with other departments.
- Forecasts new incoming students by program in order to assist in planning for classroom capacity.
- Inputs all admissions activity into college database management system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Actively participates in training and development as needed both in a group and individually.
- Submits required reports and projects in a timely manner. Maintains and organizes inquires and enrollment paperwork.
- Represents the college accurately and upholds college values at off-site events.
- Provide feedback to the college directors about successes, challenges, and areas of continuous development of the recruitment process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent required (College degree is a plus)
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!
- Salary is negotiable – based on experience
