Description:
Position Summary:
The Grower Accounting Clerk will work in close partnership and collaboration across functional work groups by providing support and information sharing to ensure accurate and timely payment to growers. This role is responsible for invoicing, packouts and numerous accounting functions as they relate to grower accounting and settlement process, as well as perform routine and non-routine grower accounting activities. This role supports our core values of Excellence, Accountability, Transparency and Stewardship (EATS) by taking ownership of the process and the data from first entry and helping the team utilize that information to the end of the settlements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Initiates pay runs for all grower payments such as drenching, advances, progress payments and final grower payments.

Vouchers payments and invoices daily grower acccounting activities

Daily reviews packouts to ensure accuracy

Assists with the processes and preparation of accurate operational financial information for grower clients within predetermined deadlines.

Prepares account sales report to track inventory movement as requested by the sales team.

Assists in preparing grower settlements in a timely manner, following established policy and procedures, including research of costs and sale related issues.

Investigates and resolves entry problems in a timely manner.

Provides support to the operations team as needed.

Works closely with sales and collection team with open orders affecting settlements.

Assists in preparing monthly/weekly assessment reports on a timely manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

0-2 year's experience in accounting, preferred

Intermediate to advances computer skills with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Famous software experience, preferred
