Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects to ensure timely delivery and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, tasks, resources, and milestones.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
Type 2 Circuit Management
- Oversee the procurement and provisioning of Type 2 circuits from third-party providers.
- Track and manage circuit inventory, ensuring accurate records and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve circuit issues and outages.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and maintain performance metrics.
- Analyze circuit performance data to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
- Circuit invoice approval
Technical Writing
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all technical content is accurate, clear, and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to gather information and verify documentation accuracy.
- Maintain a repository of technical documents and ensure easy access for relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of documentation to reflect the latest processes and technologies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in project management, circuit management, and/or technical writing, preferably in the telecommunications or ISP industry.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Strong understanding of Type 2 circuits and telecom provisioning processes.
- Excellent technical writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Skills
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Experience with network management systems (NMS) and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical documentation.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the telecommunications sector.
