Job Summary:
Candidate is responsible for the design, development, and test of electronic systems, components, or circuits for use within Micro Control Burn-In Systems. The candidate will use computer assisted engineering design software and equipment to perform assignments. This position reports to the System Design Engineering Department
Key Responsibilities:

Design DC to DC switching power supplies. Designs are high current (>100A), high power (>250W), polyphase, and microcontroller controlled.

Analog simulation & analysis of DC to DC switching power supplies.

Select components, design & enter schematics, create BOMs, and propose PCB placements.

Implement microcontroller code to control power supplies.

Writes test programs to verify hardware. Forwards diagnostic templates to software department for customer implementation.

Responsible for observing existing processes and making recommendations for improvement.

Develops user manuals that include detailed how-to, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Collaborates with Sales team and customers to define product requirements.

Performs all other related duties as requested or assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in related field.

Ability to work cooperatively as a team and independently.

Strong communication and organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
3+ years relevant engineering experience.

Control loop stability design for switching power supplies.
-
Experience programming microcontrollers.
-
Experience writing programs in Python and/or C.

Verilog FPGA logic design and digital simulation experience.
