Job Summary:
We seek a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food according to our recipes and specifications, ensuring that all meals are cooked to perfection, and contributing to an efficient and organized kitchen operation. The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking, an eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items according to recipes and specifications
- Follow established procedures for preparing and cooking meals
- Ensure that all food is cooked to perfection and meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and kitchen environment
- Assist in monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals
- Ensure that food preparation and cooking areas are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety standards
- Participate in menu planning and development
- Assist in training and mentoring new kitchen staff members
Education and Training:
- 2 years of experience minimum
- On-the-job training provided
