Position Overview
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of machinery and equipment within the facility. The team's scope includes the CNC and CMM fleets along with their respective robotics hardware (including vertical loading machines), pre and post-processing equipment (tool setters, bandsaw), general facilities and office systems, and the entire stack of electronic controllers that link hardware to Hadrian's software systems.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic cells and vertical loading machines to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Handle the electrical wiring setups and modifications necessary for machinery and equipment.

Coordinate with vendors for specialized repair services and over-time build an in-house playbook to enable Hadrian to maintain all equipment internally

Conduct upgrades and installations related to pneumatics systems to optimize performance.

Install and maintain edge devices and RFID technology to support operational and tracking capabilities.

Develop and execute maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve equipment issues and to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Instead of a BA, 5 years of direct experience may be substituted.
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and pneumatics.

Familiarity with robotic cell operations and vertical loading machinery.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Experience with RFID and edge device technologies.

For this role, the target salary range is $75,000 - $150,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).
This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
