About the role…
The Coordinator, Group Leader Resources is a member of the Program Resources team and supports by providing administrative services across multiple Road Scholar product lines – International, North America, and Afloat. This role includes ongoing day-to-day administrative responsibilities and group leader support, as well as projects as they occur while providing exceptional support to fellow team members. This role will be critical in ensuring the implementation of standardized and consistent policy and procedures for operations teams and group leaders, on all Road Scholar operated programs. This position requires a person who is organized, detail driven, able to juggle several different tasks at once and a polished, professional communicator.
Road Scholar offers a remote-first work environment. The compensation for this non-exempt/hourly position is $22.00 per hour.
You will…
- Support Group Leader Resources in training new Group Leaders and serving as a resource to the team
- Write, send and track Program Assignment Agreement to all scheduled GL's
- Order branding kits and track Group Leader credit cards to ensure all Group Leaders have an active, valid card
- Send and track post program feedback survey link. Send summary to Operations Teams
- Assist with Zoom and other software during all training sessions.
- Keep GL database updated with contact info/availability etc.
- Review hours entered by GL in UKG, assign the corresponding role/pay rate based on the weekly spreadsheet; escalate any additional hours for review.
- Other projects and responsibilities as determined by the Director, Group Leader Resources
- Additional duties assigned
You Need…
- Experience in a busy office environment required; some experience in the travel industry or educational field preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, ever-changing environment
- Focused, detail oriented; ability to juggle several different tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Polished verbal, phone, written and email communicator; service-oriented approach
- Strong computer systems orientation; comfortable in a hands-on complex database environment; good with numbers and data; extremely accurate and detail-oriented; good proofreader and checker
- Ability to work well with all levels of staff through strong interpersonal and positive, problem-solving skills
- Desire to build knowledge of Road Scholar program destinations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team environment
