Position Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and guidance to customer on operational and troubleshooting issues for F/A-18 Avionics systems, its wiring, and specialty coverage.
- Aviation Electrical background, with in debt knowledge / experience troubleshooting Electrical System related discrepancies.
- Monitors product performance and makes recommendations for resolution of potential issues.
- Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.
- Develops and conducts ad-hoc training.
- Interpret technical documents and monitors Avionics/Wiring product performance,
- Uses multi-disciplined technical expertise and company product support resources to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.
- Utilizes the VECTOR system to record issues and get reach-back support.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum 7 years interpreting engineering drawings, schematics & technical publications.
- At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
- 5+ years of experience on F/A-18 Hornet Avionics and Wiring Repair.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Minimum 7 years of experience on F/A-18 E/F is desired.
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years of related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.)
