With operations currently in California, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, Metiri’s objective is to provide full-service environmental laboratory services and solutions with the highest caliber service experience.
Our business is primed for rapid growth and we’re looking for a Laboratory Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team.
Highly motivated candidates with prior experience in a laboratory would be ideal. The selected individuals will be self-motivated and self-directed, yet work as part of a team to provide our clients with high quality analytical testing of waters, soils/solids, and whole air samples.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry is preferred.
- Experience in performing laboratory analyses, data verification, and data validation is preferred.
- Possess strong problem solving capabilities, including pattern recognition.
- Handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safe laboratory practices, including the proper procedures in handling chemicals and unknown environmental samples.
- Competency with computer software.
- Ability to take direction, work with minimal supervision once trained, and collaborate with others in a team environment
