Position summary:
To provide full customer satisfaction in the repair and maintenance of a wide variety of aircraft repair and maintenance. Perform maintenance on assigned aircraft within scope of FAA privileges. Responsible for knowing job scope, expectations and requirements during all phases of the job. Follow direction of assigned Shop Lead or Shop Manager. Maintain clean aircraft and work areas. Assist with moving aircraft as directed. Assist other technicians as needed or directed by Shop Lead or Shop Manager.
Job Responsibility:
- Ensure the quality of aircraft, engine, and propeller maintenance and repair.
- Remove from service any aircraft that is unsafe or not in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the FAA or the Company’s Aviation Department’s Operations Manual.
- Ensure compliance with Manufacturer Service Instructions, Service Bulletins and FAA Airworthiness Directives
- Assist in the completion of Work Orders and aircraft Log Book entries.
- Works as a member of a team focused on meeting customer expectations requiring Mechanics and Avionic Technicians to assist each other as required.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Adaptable work ethic able to cope with last-minute changes in priority or direction
- Willing to learn new processes and procedures unique to Ace Aviation
Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Provide references upon request
- Must be able to obtain an Airport Security Badge through the local airport authority (if applicable)
- (Preferred) 2+ years General Aviation (GA) experience.
