RN (Days) Position Profile: Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
Compensation: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
Differentials: $5.00/hour overnights, $2.50/hour weekends, $7.50/hour weekend overnights
Qualifications Required: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. One (1) to two (2) year(s) clinical experience is a plus. Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of Maine, must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification. Experience with chronic substance use disorder and/or mental illness is a plus.
Registered Nurse (Day) Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Implement an appropriate individualized health treatment plan with the patient
-
Plan and carry out the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients

Be responsible for all aspects of the health care for the patient caseload during each shift?

Complete and maintain necessary records and reports in an accurate and confidential manner

Assist with admissions
-
Will hold a proficiency in KIPU and will attend trainings as necessary.

Make the appropriate referrals to other agencies and resources for the health care of the patients

Attend essential training programs and weekly staff meetings
-
Be willing and able to work as a team member, including leadership nursing roles

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Registered Nurse (Overnights) Position Profile: Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, under the supervision of the Nurse Team Lead.
Specific job responsibilities for our overnight Registered Nurse include:

Provide high-quality nursing care to clients undergoing detoxification from alcohol and drugs during the overnight shift

Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosing and proper documentation

Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and other physiological and psychological changes in clients, responding promptly and appropriately to any emergent situations

Document client assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols, medication administration guidelines, and facility policies and procedures

Collaborate with the day shift nursing staff to ensure continuity of care and effective communication of client needs and status

Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills related to addiction medicine and nursing practice

Perform other duties as assigned
