Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing customer orders, driver paperwork, and miscellaneous clerical duties. Great benefits and office hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting Lead Dispatcher on taking and confirming job orders
-Communicating with customers on future orders
-Collecting payments for orders and processing credit cards
-Collecting & sorting paperwork from drivers daily
-Ordering and keeping office supplies stocked
-Greeting and assisting visitors that walk into the office
-Assisting with clerical duties as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Proven experience in dispatching, supply chain, or logistics
- Proficiency in data entry
-Great communication skills
- Customer Service skills
-Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
-Reliable Transportation
-Bilingual preferred (not required)
