Job Responsibilities:
As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for helping to lead and drive daily operations including managing the kitchen and dining room to ensure a positive guest experience. Other responsibilities include:
- Upholding our standards of excellence and hospitality.
- Interviewing, hiring, and ensuring all employees receive proper training.
- Developing team members through training, motivation, and mentoring.
- Educating team members on safe work practices and maintaining an environment that is safe for both guests and team members.
- Supporting company’s strategic plan including forecasting budget management, profit & loss accountability, cost control and inventories.
Requirements:
You must be self-motivated, positive, and possess a passion for fostering a great sense of teamwork. You must exhibit uncommonly high standards and be committed to the training and development of our team. Other requirements include:
- Minimum of 3 years restaurant experience as a salaried manager in a refined fine dining environment
- A strong leadership personality with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop their team
- Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others to do so
- Must exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level
- Understanding of financial aspects of business operations
- Food Manager certification
