POSITION PURPOSE
This position includes, but is not limited to all phases of financial accounting concerning the entire corporation. He/she will be primarily responsible for maintaining current accurate and confidential financial files. Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the Business. Work as a partner with the Operations Manager and other key personnel to maximize efficiency and profitability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervises accounting team.
· Develops budgets for cost centers.
· Provide projections and budgeting
· Weekly 401K reports and uploads to John Hancock site.
· Effectively manage the Company Captive health benefits plan.
· Staying up to date on all Company insurance coverage and policy updates.
· Properly control all applicable assets of the Company to include fixed assets, inventory, etc.
· Responsible for all monthly accounting close activities.
· Reviewing all incoming bills, invoices and accounts receivable. Ensuring all material invoices are accurate and current.
· Analysis of monthly financials for the Board to include informative reports which summarize the Company’s business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings
· Banking and weekly cash flow management for analysis and long term/short term cash flow needs.
· Manage borrowing base.
· Maintain ledger and/or financial packages that are reported to the Company’s banks.
· Provide year end information to Company retained CPA firm.
· Responsible to lead and participate with both internal and external audits.
· Implement and maintain proper financial checks and balances to comply with all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
· Respond to requests for information from agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Franchise Tax Board (FTB). Responsible for resolution of any issues via verbal or written communication.
· Follows and ensures adherence to established Hilltop Ranch, Inc requirements to local, State, and Federal regulations regarding food safety, sanitation, food production and nutritional guidelines.
· Must comply with all Company safety rules and policies.
· Responsibilities are not limited to the above and may include assisting other departments within reasonable and related tasks.
QUALIFICATION
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CMA, MBA preferred.
· Ability to analyze data and share information to the Board of Directors
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and knowledge of current GAAP
· Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
· Advanced MS Office skills to include excel.
· Ability to work for the set wage amount
· Ability to follow work procedures and all safety rules
· Ability to read, understand and follow direction/instructions
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
· Ability to work with confidential information
· Must be able to work as a team with courtesy and a positive approach.
· Must be able to pass a physical and drug test

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
