The Senior Audit & Accounting is a full-time position, responsible for performing audit and accounting work as assigned. The successful candidate will be driven to take initiative and must demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. The position offers a range of opportunities to grow in rank and proficiency through special assignments, team development and paid CPE opportunities.
This position’s hours are 9 – 5:30, Mondays through Fridays. Working extended hours and Saturdays should be anticipated during statutory deadline periods. A hybrid work schedule is available after 30 days.
Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate and complete audit workpapers that support audit observation and documentation
- Create financial statements at audit completion
- Review SOC 1 write ups and perform control walkthroughs
- Execute testing procedures around cash, receivables, income, benefit payments, expenses, and other areas
- Maintain effective working relationships with Partners and staff to review work and discuss changes, as needed, to ensure efficient workflow and excellent client relations
- Audit benefit plans, corporate and partnership entities and prepare financial statements
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts
- Execute fieldwork by performing audit testing through inquiry, observation, and re-performance; documenting results in workpapers
- Review work within the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits
- Assist staff with other accounting projects as required

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
