Bake Me Happy is looking for an experienced front counter person- is it you?
Experienced = able to operate a drip coffee machine, and manage cold brew. Weekends are required.
Bake Me Happy is a fun, relaxed, cozy coffee shop with an emphasis on gluten free baked goods with a nostalgic twist. Our drinks and treats are fun, creative and well-crafted.
Our ideal candidate is:
- Friendly and an expert at top notch customer service
- Confident and able to brew coffee and make specialty cold brew drinks
- Punctual and reliable
- Independent, self starter (sometimes you do work alone)
- Flexible with a can-do attitude and willing to cross train other tasks
- Knowledgeable of gluten free is a plus
Experience with the following bakery tasks: packaging prep, box prep, warming up bakery counter food, helping bakery counter customers, dishes and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
