Job Description:
As a Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk at Twin Lakes Golf Club, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity of our operations. You will be responsible for a range of accounting and clerical tasks to support the club's financial operations while delivering exceptional service to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to member and guest inquiries related to billing, fees, and financial transactions in a prompt, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
- Perform month-end closing duties, including preparing financial reports and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial statements.
- Process daily receivables from event contracts and ensure accurate posting to the General Ledger.
- Verify and coordinate receiving tickets, purchase orders, and invoices, ensuring proper coding and approval signatures.
- Prepare journal entries to record financial transactions accurately and other tasks assigned by the CFO.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of golf club or hospitality industry operations is a plus.
