The Event Specialist position in Student Services is responsible for general filing, handling incoming mail, scheduling of facilities, calendar management, and document scanning; working with vendors, external and internal customers in preparation for all events scheduled on campus; acting as point of contact for all events; and being available to greet guests and to ensure all events are set up according to the host’s specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Excellent customer service skills
3. Good organizational skills
4. Strong communication skills
5. Proficient skill in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite and Office Tracker
6. Ability to pay close attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
1. Associate’s degree
