GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the direction of the General Manager or other appropriate administrator, is responsible for performing, coordinating and supervising the work of employees in the general maintenance and upkeep of the building, not limited to and including grounds and equipment. Responsible for maintaining optimal performance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems. Performs the work of employees and other duties as required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· This is a working position but also supervises and assigns the work of maintenance employees, as well as coordinating own work.
· Renovation experience a plus
· Inspects work for completion and satisfaction.
· Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Transfers equipment and personnel from one project to the next as required, or necessary.
· Keeps accurate records of room inspections, preventive maintenance, equipment , and other files as required for QA.
· Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in ALL departments and locations.
· Coordinates or inspects, operates and maintains the HVAC systems in ALL locations.
· Performs and assigns, as needed, general repairs such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves and landscaping.
· Assists in the coordination of renovations for existing facility and the construction of new facilities.
· Coordinates and inspects major contract work on the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in ALL departments.
· Must have a current and valid Driver's License, and MUST be CPO Certified. Other licenses and permits related to the profession are preferred and encouraged.
