Specialty Bolt & Screw is a fast paced, multi-national distribution, family-owned company focused on providing inventory management solutions to our clients. Account managers provide customer solutions and support to existing customers.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Customer Service Account Manager to join our Customer Service Team in Temecula, California. Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - The following list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary based on business needs.
· Develop and maintain a collegial, positive, and trusted long-term relationship with customers.
· Interact with customers through emails, telephone conversations and occasional in-person meetings.
· Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs.
· Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives for internal and external customer projects.
· Enhance the department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests by working with internal teams to add value to our customers.
· Field requests for new products, work with Sourcing Department to obtain information, and prepare customer quotes.
· Create and maintain reports and tracking spreadsheets with Excel.
· Provide follow-up to customers on requests, questions, and tracking of orders.
· Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our products.
· Provide timely responses to customers and follow through as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
· Responsible for working with the business development team to on board and integrate new customers and enhancing existing customer relationships.
· Act as a liaison between the customers and internal teams.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION, JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
· High School Diploma. Additional education and/or training a plus.
· At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· High level of proficiency in Excel including the ability to create spreadsheets.
· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Personable with great customer service skills to interface with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
· Collaborative - ability to work well in a team environment.
· Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities while working in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
· Flexible, self-managed, and persistent with exceptional follow-through skills.
· Superb decision-making and creative thinking skills
