Position: Park Manager
Objective:
The Park Manager is responsible for supervising the performance of park employees in their daily work activities. They serve as a contact point between guests and Kids Empire, ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing any questions or comments. The Park Manager is accountable for creating a safe and enjoyable experience for guests of all ages while maintaining a focus on achieving profitability. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Profit and Loss (P&L) metrics will be utilized to measure and track performance against set targets.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Greet and attend to guests promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere within the park.
2. Ensure park employees are performing their job duties satisfactorily and meeting production goals.
3. Develop weekly schedules and conduct regular audits of attendance and timeclock records.
4. Recruit and hire qualified employees for available park positions.
5. Handle, manage, and document statements, terminations, resignations, and job abandonment cases, considering their impact on P&L.
6. Conduct performance evaluations, including metrics-based assessments, to evaluate individual and overall park performance.
7. Train team members to excel in their respective roles and responsibilities.
8. Open and close the park by utilizing keys or a code for security purposes.
9. Effectively communicate and resolve any guest or employee issues in a professional and timely manner.
10. Manage the guest check-in process, utilizing technology (such as an iPad) to gather necessary data for metrics analysis.
11. Supervise cash handling processes, accurately tracking revenue and expenses to support effective P&L management.
12. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to manage and optimize birthday party bookings, ensuring revenue targets are met.
13. Coordinate with third-party vendors for supplies, orders, and requests, negotiating favorable terms to contribute to P&L.
14. Maintain effective communication with all corporate teams through appropriate channels, sharing relevant metrics and insights.
15. Monitor snack inventory levels, placing orders with vendors to replenish stock based on sales data and revenue goals.
16. Regularly inspect the park for any hazards, enforcing attendance rules, regulations, and guidelines to protect company assets and minimize liabilities.
17. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained throughout the park, enhancing the guest experience and minimizing risks.
18. Schedule and coordinate family events, implementing efficient processes to maximize revenue generation.
19. Assist with operational tasks, such as conducting P&L analyses, participating in meetings to review metrics, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
20. Perform other duties as assigned, with a focus on contributing to the company's financial success.
Physical Demands:
- Constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
- Frequent bilateral hand movements and good finger dexterity.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment with children and music.
- Must handle a busy work environment during peak hours.
- Comfortable working in a structured setting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work effectively with children and utilize technology such as an iPad.
- Strong communication skills, customer service skills, and conflict resolution skills.
- Leadership skills and the ability to handle conflicts effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented with accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Fluency in English (reading and writing).
