STARLUX Airlines invites applications from qualified professionals for Social Media Specialist position, which will be based in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Social Media
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams on media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules;
- Market STARLUX brand through social media and other creative means by collaboration with partnering advertising company, sports marketing and Headquarters PR;
- Assist in developing, implementing and managing the Company’s social media strategy through competitive research and audience identification;
- Liaise with Heaquarters PR and partnering advertising company to design marketing material in line with the Company’s branding and design aesthetics;
2. Sales
- Plan and implement sales strategies and programs; liaise with Taiwan Headquarters’ revenue management team and other relevant departments to launch activities and events per sales plan;
- Acquire sales leads to promote awareness of STARLUX products;
- Plan for and participate in sales events and seminars to market the Company’s products and services to the travel industry;
- Handle payment and expense reimbursement arrangements for joint campaigns with trade partners, and
3. Perform other duties as assigned by immediate manager
Qualifications
- Have excellent leadership, multitasking, communication, and coordination skills.
- Be able to react quickly, solve problems and is a team player.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Bilingual is a plus

Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and above or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 year of relevant experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Content Creation, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recent graduate will also be considered.
