Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Verify patient information and update medical records
- Collect payment
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient referrals
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist
- Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
