Join a high performing K-8 dual-language charter school, and help drive logistics, operations, and school culture. HoLa is seeking a resourceful, enthusiastic team member who is able to contribute to the development of the systems and processes necessary to operate a highly effective and efficient organization. Special Projects Coordinator is a 12-month position and will report to the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Create internal systems, protocols, and schedules for whole school routines and procedures.
- Create internal/external school calendars, calendars of events, and schedules
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee logistics of school events
- Internal / external communications, including but not limited to: social media, website, school newsletter
- Serve as testing coordinator for District and Statewide assessments
- Coordinate outreach/ student recruitment activities, as well as advertising and admissions materials.
- Identification of, and application for, potential grants and awards
- Oversee planning and execution of open houses and lottery
- Serve as liaison and point person for Friends of HoLa
- Support completion of cyclical State reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of relevant software;
Demonstrate enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with visitors, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
Detailed-oriented, strong time management skills; ability to independently manage multiple tasks at once and meet established deadlines;
Bachelor’s degree required.
Terms for Employment: Vacation time is allotted in addition to all school holidays, health benefits. Salary offer is commensurate with skills and prior experience.
