Optometrist's Office is seeking an outgoing, dependable, front office assistant to greet, register, answer calls, schedule, and assist patient. A friendly, positive attitude, and great work ethic would fit well with our team!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee front desk duties and ensure smooth daily operations
- Greet and assist patients in person and by phone
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Schedule appointments and maintain office schedule
- Confirm appointments and verify insurance benefits.
- Perform data entry tasks to update records and maintain databases
- Provide administrative support to various departments as required
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
