Scope and Purpose:
ManhattanLife’s Voluntary Benefits team is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven Account Manager. In this role, the Account Manager is responsible for retaining and growing an assigned book of business through exceptional service and client engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Proactively manage an assigned book of business by providing accurate, timely, and professional service.

Retain assigned book of business, grow relationships, and drive revenue with the addition of new lines of coverage and increased enrollment with assigned customers.

Act as a liaison between the customer, broker, and internal teams to initiate and execute action plans for customer resolution.

Work closely with billing, underwriting, claims, and other internal departments to provide broker and customer support.

Collaborate with Account Executives and Regional Vice Presidents to service assigned book of business.

Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Complete special projects and tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; financial or insurance industry knowledge preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

At least 5 years of group insurance experience servicing accounts and/or account management.

Insurance product knowledge is preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with clients and internally.

Outstanding organization skills with extreme attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Ability to work independently.
