Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Fabricate and install new equipment or components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to understand and follow instructions.
- Knowledge of logic controllers and the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Experience supervising maintenance staff is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects or working in confined spaces.
