POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To oversee and strategically manage the Private Pay Independent Living department of The Arc Jacksonville Village.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ongoing, responsible supervision of independent living staff & volunteers.

Facilitate annual person-centered Service Plan meetings to ensure exceptional service delivery and adequate communication amongst service team.

Regularly audit services provided to residents and submit monthly reports to Director of Resident Services and Vice President, Independent Living Support Services.

Respond to and appropriately handle resident issues and concerns (routine and emergency) that arise and support the personal growth and the development of resident’s skills through collaboration with support staff & volunteers.

Actively participate as part of the Independent Living Support Services leadership team, working together to ensure the overall success of The Village. Participate in Manager on Duty rotation to ensure safety & supervision of Community Center.

Manage a small caseload of residents, including acting as a substitute when staff are on vacation or off from work.

Electronically document progress notes, interventions, communications, training sessions, incidents, etc. as required and in a timely manner.

Ability to work flexible hours based on program needs, including periodic evenings and weekends.

Collaborate with Director of Resident Services to research and develop community partnerships.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Resident Services.
Formal Education: Bachelor degree*, preferably in nursing, education, or a social, behavior or rehabilitative science and 1 year of experience.
Experience may be substituted for required college.
Skills: Excellent leadership skills and qualities, including but not limited to, organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills including staff and resident presentations; effective goal setting; meaningful leadership of diverse employees; proven track record of innovation and creativity; strong advocacy skills, collaborative team player.
Experience: At least two (2) years of direct service to persons with differences. At least one (1) year of managerial experience.
Other: Must be 21 years or older. Must be able to pass background checks. Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles required.

CPR/Basic First Aid Certification, HIPAA Certification, Zero Tolerance, Human Trafficking and Fair Housing Training, Mental Health First Aid Training will be provided.
Salary: $35,000 annually
