CLE provides postsecondary supports to young adults with Autism, LD, ADHD, or other diagnoses. We support students in the academic, career, independent living, and social skills domains. College Living Experience (CLE) in Costa Mesa, California is currently seeking two part-time Career Development Instructors to support our students with all aspects of their career search.
Note: In this position, you will be providing 1:1 career instruction, small group workshops, and career exploration outings within the community. Experience with Autism and job development preferred. Must be able to forge networking connections and opportunities for and with students. The instructors must be willing to transport students in company vehicles and must hold a driver's license for more than a year. Availability Tuesday through Saturday 8-2pm is ideal.
After 90 days employment, the new instructor will receive a bonus of $150.

As a Career Development Instructor, you will:
- review the results of career assessments (Greenwood Assessment) with your students to identify potential areas of professional exploration and growth.
- develop functional career goals for your students, measure student progress, and provide on-site job coaching.
- work with students 1-1 and in small groups.
- provide support to students enrolled in certificate programs or in extra-curricular workshops in the community.
- help students develop their resumes and cover letters, apply to jobs, and prepare for interviews.
- write meeting summary notes daily.
- develop a network of internship, volunteer, and job placement opportunities with local and regional companies.
- The instructors must be willing to transport students in company vehicles and must hold a driver's license for more than a year.
Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
