Small Ob/Gyn practice seeks medical receptionist to greet patients in a warm and friendly manner; schedule appointments; take phone messages. Professionalism and superior people skills essential.
Duties:
* Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries,schedule appointments in person or by telephone.
* Comfort patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the office/ reception area.
* Maintain electronic medical records; maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
* Record and collect patient charges.
* Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
* Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
* Clean, maintain, and stock office
Skills/Qualifications:
Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing/EMR Experience , Professionalism
