We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities, onboarding new customers and servicing existing accounts alongside Regional Sales Managers, processing and shipping orders with accuracy, and maintaining accurate records on CRM.
The Market Focus for this role will be Power Transmission & Distribution, and Telecommunications.
This hybrid role will be two days in office in Marietta, GA, and will report to the Inside Sales Team Leader – Energy.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business
- Generate new business by prospecting and making connections with decision makers
- Respond to customer inquiries, evaluate opportunities, and manage leads in CRM
- Provide product information and presentations to potential customers as needed
- Enter sales orders and manage orderbook to meet customer expectations
- Facilitate achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Collaborate with the finance team as needed
- Attend tradeshows and events as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product developments
Essential skills & competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 2+ years of inside sales experience preferably in a B2B industry, preferably manufacturing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Skilled in SAP a plus
- Detail-oriented
Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office
